An interview with a Burmese American Urban Pop Singer
There was an interview with a Burmese American Urban Pop Singer Robin Natalise Chow in The Voice Weekly Journal (Oct 30). The Interview was conducted online and here are some highlights from the interview.
Disclaimer: The interview script was originally written in Myanmar in The Voice Weekly Journal and the following is just a rough translation.
Voice: Would you like to pay a visit to Myanmar?
Nat: Yes, I do. I am hoping to come for a visit some time next year. I would like to see the country where my parents grew up.
Voice: Why don’t you learn Myanmar language?
Nat: I do understand Myanmar language, it’s just that I can’t speak it fluently. There’s no Myanmar language teaching school in America.
Voice: What would you like to say to your fans from Myanmar?
Nat: I would like to thank everyone who listen to my music in Myanmar. I am very glad to have their support and I am planning for a live performance in Myanmar soon. In the mean time, you can login to www.myspace.com/natalise or www.natalisemusic.com to listen to my music.
