A popular Myanmar Director U Tin Than Oo (တင္သန္းဦး) passed away this morning (around 2am) on November 5, 2010 at the Mingaladon Military Hospital, Yangon, Myanmar.
One of his latest movies was အရုဏ္ဦးမွာ ဖူးသည့္ၾကာ, roughly translated to Lotus at Dawn, featuring a total of 68 actors and actresses. You can read the interview about the movie here.
Director Tin Than Oo is also a novelist and has written a few novels in his lifetime.
