Myanmar singer couple Annaga & Than Thar Win showed us how to make an Indian Indian bread, puri.

Puri is prepared from atta (stone-ground whole-wheat flour) dough and salt, by spreading it out in a circle the size of one’s palm and deep frying in ghee (clarified butter) or vegetable oil. In Pakistan and in some parts of India such as West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh, Puri is usually made with maida (regular wheat flour) instead of “atta”. While deep frying, the bread puffs up like a round ball. When it is golden-brown in color, it is removed and served hot.
